1500 limit and SD'd. Should I buy a candy bar with it once a month or every couple months?

What is the amount of time I can leave it without charging anything before they get annoyed?

The longest I've gone was about three years. Recently, I've seen posts from people whose Chase cards were closed after one or two years of inactivity.

To be safe, I would make a purchase every 6 months.
