I know that if you remove an authorized user from your account the credit history from the authorized account disappears as it never happened.
What if I were to add an authorized user to one of my credit card accounts that had a 10 year clean payment history and then closed the account after the bureaus started reporting for the authorized user...would the authorized user still gain the positive credit history of the 10 year old credit card with excellent payment history or would the history simply be deleted from the authorized users credit report like they were removed from the account.
So basically the question is, does credit history last for the authorized user on on closed accounts.
