Authorized User

I've got a question that I wonder if any of you could answer for me.

My wife has a Walmart credit card and I am an authorized user on her account. Does that cause any problems or issues if or when I decide to apply for a card with them on my own?

I didn't know if they see that and won't extend a card and credit to someone who's associated with another.

Re: Authorized User

Thanks! I can't say that I ever received a denial letter saying no for that reason but it came across my mind and made me think about it.

Re: Authorized User

It won't cause an issue. I was an AU on hubby's Walmart and Lowe's cards when I got approved for my own.

Re: Authorized User

Awesome! I hope to garden for awhile and maybe attempt to get the Walmart, Amazon, or Best Buy credit cards since we shop there a lot.
