Perhaps there is no perfect answer to this given the number of credit card companies out there, however I was wondering how common or uncommon it is for credit card companies to give auto CLI's to those that pretty much PIF every month? I have had some decent auto CLI's, however as I think about it, most, if not all, were while I was rapidly bringing the balances down. I do not think I have had a auto CLI on a card that I PIF every month, therefore no where near the CL and pay no interest.
Does this mean that auto CLI's may be dead for me or have some of you had increases even though you PIF every month?
Thanks!
Its all variable really. I had my JCP cards stuck at 1100 for 2 years with medium usage and always PIF. Then I didnt used them for a year and got a 2K increase witht he luv button.
Then I had my discover it with 50%+ UTL for a year during the 0% APR and got CLI every 3 months (went from 2000 to 5000)
