Realizing impatience is just killing you, just wait it out.  Calling them several times is not going to speed up the process, at least not in this case.

Yeah. I'm just gonna try to forget about this and who knows, maybe it will get resolved sooner than I thought.

It's all you can do for right now.  On the upside, it's not denied so that's always a plus.  Different groups review various criteria for verification and the process just has to take its course sometimes.  Patience never killed anyone Smiley Wink

Yup. I doubt they would want to go through all this trouble just to deny my application right then and there. Last verification process, they called me and told me that I'd been approved but needed to make sure they had my address correct.

Exactly.  I had a similar scenario with my Southwest Rewards Premier CC.  The two address thing always trips them but I'm very, very glad they check.  In this day in age, even as we monitor things very closely, you just never know.  So, I tend to applaud lenders that have that extra layer of security to ensure everything verifies accordingly.

How long did it take altogether to hear back from Chase? Checked my app again just to be sure and it's pending and under review still so I'm still crossing my fingers it's a great sign. 3% cashback on restaurants and gas would be quite a great deal for me and all with no caps seeing how the rewards on the Freedom have been watered down a bit.

IIRC, it took less than a week and once everything was verified, I was approved.
