Got this awesome offer from Citi today for "Low Promo Rate" of 22.49% APR until January, after which it will go back to the standard APR of 22.49%. What luck, they are so generous!
Actually, it's very strange because they had an earlier promo offer of 0% APR until November 2018 which I accepted already, so if I choose to accept this offer does it cancel the 0% and go back up to 22.49%? I always PIF so neither offer nor the APR impact me at all, but it sure is funny.
LOL surely this must to be a mistake. I would be right on the phone with them demanding a decent promo. It's an insult.
From time to time, I call CITI to complain about the APR on my Double Cash card and I tell them it's the highest so I won't be using the card anymore. Not what they want to hear so they usually offer me some kind of promo. I would try that. You have nothing to lose here!

My DC is 23.90% APR and only has a $4400 line.
I really should just close it. I tried to get them to move that CL to my Costco Visa but they would not.
So, my retaliation is to report the card lost about every 6 months and have them send me a new card.
I got this same email and while it took a second or two, the rate stared scrolling backwards from my current rate to 5.99%. Maybe a glitch in the email?
All I have to say is LMAO at Citi
My two Citi cards are 13.49% and 16.24%. Both have $6,300 limits.
I once worked at Belk department store. We switched signs for weekly sales but the price of the garments would end up being the same.
Take $100 jacket. One week it would simply be on sale for $80. The next week it would be 20% off.
Wow. They REALLY appreciate your business. lol That gave me Forest Whitaker eye.
