BALANCE REPORTING

Hello, I'm paying off my First Saving Credit card balance of $137 Friday. Should I pay if all of or leave $1 balance.
Some people say it's not good reporting 0 balance on credit cards..

This this true with Store cards? For I paid off my balance with the Avenue (Comenity Bank)....

Re: BALANCE REPORTING

It's not good to pay off *ALL* cards to zero. As long as one is showing a small 1-9% balance reporting you're in good shape.

Re: BALANCE REPORTING

If you have fewer than 3 revolving trade lines you should pay them all off.  If you have 3 or more let a small amount report on one.  Don't forget to go back and pay the small amount before the due date, but after the statement cuts though or you will get interest charged on it.
