So it's that time of the year again and I figure I'll call in and get my AF waived. NOT.

Pull the ole I'll have to close my account, and I get the end of a flight routine......OK, thank you bu by now...thank you have a nice day....
I'm like, um no trip to customer retention? No trip to an account specialist? She is like, no, thank you please exit the aircraft LOL.

i gonna do the same thing in a couple of weeks. i've had a change of heart about holding on to my rzmc. im looking forward to closing it. i guess they have dropped customer retention. im not even going to ask for an annual fee waive. it has served its purpose. i have been lucky to have had the initial annual fee waived, and i don't plan on ever having to pay one on this card. af isnt due until nov. 9, but i am still not interesed in holding on to this card. im waiting for statment close.

I recommend you wait until after 9/22, a credit analyst told me that's when CLI and PC resumes. By then you might be able to request a PC to the Platinum with no AF and keep the card. It can't hurt

Same story.

Stuck at 750CL FOREVER! No CLI, no bump to another card. Told me no can do. Would not remove the AF.

Ridiculous. Lowest card I USED to carry. I don't miss it. I put everything on my Freedom, Forward, More or BCE.

I'm still at a loss, just don't understand what the thinking is. Run off 6 or 7 year perfect history customers over $59 bucks lol, not even an option to PC. Maybe that's why there selling the business. They ran it into the ground
