BBRZMC saved by the waived AF

I called them today to cancel my card, the young lady was saddened by this news and asked why, so I told her I had the card almost  year now with only one CLI from 300-500 and was recently denied a CLI with a HP.  She transferred me to the account manager who said he can understand why I would want to cancel it, but asked if he waived the AF for the year would I be willing to keep the card open, if only as a backup card or for online purchases only.  He saw my last CLI request was a manual review that's why it was a HP.  I told him I was upset that card doesn't seem to want to grow with me, even though this had been my first card in nearly 6 years.  In the end I kept it open and he waived the fee.  To the SD this card goes for the year.  Perhaps sometime in the near future Cap1 will deem me worthy of a CLI.
