Nope that is their standard msg..I think..I applied in 2/2010 and got a denial letter...but I just applied a few weeks ago and was approved..I'm fairly certain it gave me the same msg..Then a few days later I got an email saying I had been approved but that was it, so I had to end up calling to find out my CL and APR..
I hope you get it..I was fairly suprised..I thought being a bank the CL would have been lower, but I was pleasantly suprised..
GOOD LUCK..Keep us posted.

I applied online yesterday and it told me they couldn't accept application online. It told me to apply over the phone. Did you apply the card online or over the phone? May be the system was down yesterday.
Ron.
Nice limit. Thanks for sharing it with us
I think the only application they accept online is for the Clear Points Visa. I applied for the Clear Points Visa card last month and was very happy with the approval and CL. It was not instant. Got an email two days after application saying I was approved and received card a week later with rate and CL info.
Ron,
Was your application during business hours? I've found that the application is only online during regular banking hours..I think in 2-3 days after I applied I received the apporval email and then I called and they gave me the credit line and APR..

I applied it on Sunday. I think the system only accepted the application during the business hours. May be I tried it again. Are they INQ sensitive? May I ask how's your credit? My credit is perfect except a lot fo INQs.
