My gf opened her BCE and Zync about 3 months ago. Prior to this, she had 1.5 years of credit history, with 1 late early on due to her forgetting to pay her bill. When she applied, she was in 710s TU FICO. She applied for Zync then BCE the same day. Both are instant approvals. Zync with NPSL and BCE with $2000 starting cl.
So I called in for her late last night to see if we can get a CLI. I know people say you can get 3x CLI at 61/62 days but she wasn't in a hurry so weren't counting the days.Through the automated system, I requested $6000 total limit, and entered her income as $22,000(didn't want to risk AA on FR) and after 30 seconds(felt longer) it said you're approved for total CL of $6000!
We couldn't believe it, especially me. She basically takes my advice so she's not well versed on the ins and outs of credit. We were sure her income would be a limiting factor but it wasn't the case!
Anyways, just wanted to post info for anyone that could use it.

Congrats! Is she gonna go for another cli after 6 months again? Lol
Maybe...but I am steering her toward diversifying her portfolio first before another CLI for BCE. $6000 CLI is mroe than any of us need.
Whats sad is that I've been working on my credit for way longer than her, but she already has surpassed my highest CL. I have previous mistakes reporting on my report from 3+ years ago.

Congrats.... but I have a question for my 3xcli since I just got the Amex BCE.
What is her TOTAL avail. cred. ? as compared to income... so like.... does she have more than $22k in open lines? If she didn't have equal to or more than that in credit, that may be why they extended her the cli.
I'm just curious... I'm getting to the point where my total avail credit is almost to my total income... and when I go for the 3xcli request, I don't want them to deny me because I have too much avail cred relative to my income LOL
sorry if that's a personal question, I'm just curious.... :-)

I think she has around $7800 in available CL. I know a long of high achievers have available credit similar to their income. The argument is that they have much more experience in credit. She only has 2 years.
