Got a BCE March 10, saw that I have $100 available reward dollar balance yesterday. I've made over $1,000 in purchases so I'm guessing this is the welcome offer, but I didn't realize it would be available this quickly. The first statement hasn't even cut yet. Also wondering why it's $100 and not $50 since I have a BCE and not a BCP. Double checked my card member agreement, no annual fee.
Anyone else experience this or am I missing something?
Have you spent $1,500? It's possible you got the bonus along with your daily rewards from your other spending. I'm about to hit 1k on my BCE so that would be awesome if I got the same thing. Did you sign up for the Amazon prime membership with your card?
Haven't spent $1,500. When I checked my rewards page, it said $0 reward for daily purchases so pretty positive it's the welcome offer. Just not sure why it's $100 and not $50. Also haven't signed up for Prime. I'd like to know if other's welcome offer reward dollars were available days after they hit the spending requirement.
My BCE was opened on Feb 26th, I've run $1260 through it and I'm just showing $50 in Reward Dollars.

I have a BCE and did a phone app on Feb 1st this year and the lady said she would do a $100.00 cash reward for spending $1k in the first 3 months if I was approved and I was!
Maybe that's it. I did do a phone app but don't recall him mentioning $100 vs. $50. Then again, I was really nervous about getting approved so I could've missed it.

I was nervous too! I think that's what they do to make you go for it, is to entice you with a better reward than you can usually get by doing it online!
