BCE to 6%?

So there was a rumor floating around last week that BCE was getting bumped to 6% CB at grocery stores.  Did this happen?

The post here was from info from another forum, which never got verified...I was sure hoping, though...lol.

No that was a rumor started on another forum.  I chatted with a Amex CSR and they said they had not heard anything like this and that it was not true.

It's beyond me why anyone would believe AMEX would give away 6% cash back for free (without some sort of annual fee).

Amex would have to hire another 1000 CSR to cover the influx of calls, either to apply or PC thier card.
