BCP cash back?

Hi all,
I got my BCP on 20th of last month. Still no rewards. Anybody knows when Amex would catch up? My statement closes on 16th Sept. Last time I called Amex cc told me it would take time for rewards to catch up.

I feel like rewards run a month behind but not sure it's exactly that long... sorry don't pay close enough attention.

Re: BCP cash back?

It's about a month but the processing of requests for cash back is pretty quick.

They're a statement behind. If you haven't made it through your first statement you'll see them on the second one.

Re: BCP cash back?

My statement closes tomorrow so hopefully I would see the rewards cash back. Why on earth Amex would have a different cycle for billing and rewards? Really confused here.

So that the card holders can't take the cashbacks/points and run...not my explanation....read somwhere.

Re: BCP cash back?

I have Amex several times. I only let one card report balance which is currently Chase SW card. If I do not get any cash back then I will call Amex and ask for supervisor to inquire about the same.

Re: BCP cash back?

I know With the Green card, points are accrued and don't post until after you've made that billing cycle's payment...basically a one month lag.

I have the BCP, and I assume this same logic applies. I've never looked closely enough to confirm though.
