You don't have a lot of variety (example they don't sell peach preserves, just strawberry and grape), but they got good prices. Downside is you need to buy in bulk, but that's ok since we got 4 kids!
The cl is not really something major as long as it's usable. At 1.5k is fine. She can do all groceries and gas with no issues, and then I pif. If I need her to have a better score I just pay before the closing date and leave it at 1-2% balance, and voila her score is now as high as it can be. My idea is to get her a cc that she can carry for ever so her aaofa builds up. I think this cc got that potential.
I have the BJ's mastercard and I like it. No complaints. Good rewards. I prefer BJ's to Costco; at least around here, Costco is an absolute madhouse and annoying to shop in because it's so crowded. BJ's is a bit more tame.
Congrats on the approval for this card! I got it in April and use it a lot. Mostly because of the 10 cents off gas, but also right now until 7/5 do an in-store purchase and get the 5 cents on top of that. I got gas for $2.55 per gallon the other day because of this promo. We have the $50 membership and it was $40 since I just renewed it on the BJ's MC. No more having to carry that ugly white membership card with a horrible pic of me on it. Since getting the card I've given them a lot of love. I think you'll like the decision to get this card a lot.
Thanks! Really is my DW cc, and sort of my baby.
Anyways the online thing ain't gonna happen. I just will set the payment info on my chase online account, and pay when necessary.
I got a strict policy at home 1cc and 1 store card, it applies to both. I do have a second cc to do auto pays, the Barclay one that gives you 2% cash back on utilities but is an exception, it just to make my life easier making 1 payment on the cc rather than multiple ones across the board.
Well and she got 2 store cards, the JCPenny, and the Kanes, but the Kanes is more of a family store card since we buy from time to time some furnitures for the house and at 12 month no interest I kept it ...

instead of keep asking to remove the AF. seems as if she has had it long enough. just pc the card. to a no AF card. would still be same account number and same history. its pretty easy actually. and cap one loves to do it.
pc = product convert
