This thread was revived from the dead (it started in 2007) and the majority of this info may not be relevant anymore as far as what cards are bk friendly. Many things have changed since 2007. There is another thread more current on here that is from 2012 so I would try to find that one and go there. This info here is very outdated and may not get you the results that you want.
EDIT: Here's the thread 2012 BK Friendly CC's

Merrick Bank is BK friendly. And if you want to establish a good credit history at a well-known bank, Wells Fargo offers a secured card. After you've been out of BK for 12 months, you can get the secured card. With good payment history, they will refund the deposit for the secured card and graduate you to their unsecured credit card. I know this because I work at Wells Fargo.

I would start thinking about a CLI on that Alliant credit card. It has been about 6 months now. Please post what CLI you got. I am courious as to what they offer you
Sorry a bit delayed in getting back to you... too many investors with cash in the market place and couldn't get an offer accepted on a home (the last house had 46 offers on it!). So took a break from home shopping and went ahead and requested a CLI from Alliant Credit Union in Jan 2013. Approved CLI from from $2k to $10k. Said they couldn't go higher because his other card limits were too low (at the time that was a new AMEX $2k and Orchard Mastercard $2,500).
