BLUE AMERICAN EXPRESS CREDIT CARD

Just received my blue American express card in mail. Nice looking card. Didn't know what my credit limit was until today. I received a 3,000 credit limit, I was shocked since I only got a 1000 dollar limit from citi. Im surprise because I thought my equifax was higher than my experian. Citi pulled equifax and I assume American express pulled experian. MY scores are 673 equifax and transunion 660. Now I can get rid of credit one credit card. WHEN would be best time to get rid of credit one since its my oldest card opened in 06. Now I have two prime cards.Wont be applying for anything else for at least a couple years.

Re: BLUE AMERICAN EXPRESS CREDIT CARD

Do you have the Amex green card also or just the Blue?  With your scores did you have any other dings on your credit?  I'm a ways away from applying with Amex, just curious what they are looking for.  Scores are pretty mid range 640-670 with approval.  I'm still working on getting a few more negatives items removed and getting score up.

Congrats on the Blue Card.

I suggest you get rid of Credit One before any more fees are due.

Re: BLUE AMERICAN EXPRESS CREDIT CARD

I just have the blue amex. Last time I pulled experian in February I had a medical collection for 115 from 2006 and a capital one charge off that was due to come off in July or august of this year and Victoria secret charge off that is due to come off late next year or beginning of 2012. I have to look to see if i had any more baddies, but i know those accounts for sure..
