Had been looking to request a CLI on my BOA card, and looked under "Information & Services" tab, but there was no CLI request function.
Just called in to ask why, and was told that these request now must be made via phone??? Does not pass the smell test as I'm fairly certain others here have recently refered to the "luv option"
Has anyone else experineced this?????
you can just do it over the phone....just tell them you dont want a hard inquiry.

That would be awesome if you can get a SP CLI now!
oh BofA doesnt do SP inquiries? So basically they're like Chase? :/
So are you confirming that this is now the norm, and for the CLI which CRA do they review, TU or EQ for soft or hp?
I sure hope this is not the case, I hate calling in! It's so stressful and you feel like your in a Law & Order episode at the Poice Department being interrogated under a bright light! LOL!
My "Request Credit Limit Increase" button is still showing on my Online banking. It's right under my Due date etc... I clicked it to test to see if it was still active and it was. It brought up the CLI fields that need to be filled in. I sure hope it doesn't disappear on me because my six month billing cycle closes next week and I was planning on requesting a CLI if they do not auto after my statement cuts.
Fully

Fully understand how you feel!! A couple of years back I requested a CLI on my $2,500 limit card which had been gradutaed from secure after receiving my NFCU with a 15k limit. Felt like they had the "bright ligfhts" shing in my face only to be told too soon....since then my NFCU is now $21,500, NavChek 5k, Barclays 3,400, and a few more along with few more.........

I also see the 'Request a credit line increase' link in the account details page.
I got a CLI with NO hp using this link on my BofA Virgin Atlantic Amex in April.
BOFA is very much like Chase: any customer initiated inquiry can, and most likely will, be a HP.
Consider yourself incredibly lucky if you got a SP one. Typically it's a HP on TU for most folks; I can confirm that mine via the luv button this was indeed the case in 01/13.
Only BofA Accelerated Cash Rewards Amex has CLI option and the other two (Better Balance Rewards and 3-2-1 Cash Reards Visa Signature Card) don't have CLI option any more. I don't really want any more CLI from them.
