A few questions for those who have been successful in recent times with a BOA CLI. What was your:
a). Avg Usage/month?
b). Time since approval/last CLI (3 mos/6 mos/12 mos/etc.)?
c). UTL on both the BOA card and overall UTL at the time of request?
Thx!

A. Less than $750
B. Approved Dec 30 req Cli in Mar
C. Cl was $10K - overall util approx 17%. Cli'd to $25k
Important to note I also added the Fid Amex at the same time in Dec. Both approved for $10k
I was recently approved for my 4th BoA card:
1) Cashrewards approved 01/2012 $2.5k. Increased to $5k 1/2013 (requested $15k). Increased to $10k 1/2014 (requested $25k). Moderate usage, $200/mo until I got the $5k limit, then I would carry balances with their constant 0% offers.
2) Alaska Airlines approved 9/2013 $5k. One $300 purchase - ever.
3) Merrill+ approved 4/2014 $15k. $2500 balance, taking advantage of 0%
4) Alaska Airlines (card #2) 6/2014 $5k. $0 balance.
BoA encourages moderate balances, I am paying the Cashrewards and Merrill+ down $500/mo a piece. They seem to like how I'm using the cards I have since they just approved me for another one.

Hey what's up with the 2 AA cards? for the bonus? Just curious! Nice information regarding the CLI BTW.
November 2013: Approved for Cash Rewards on recon ($1k)
March 2014: Requested CLI to $10k. ( < $500 spend on it). Approved for $3k on recon (unpaid baddie reporting)
March 2014 (two days later): Paid CO reported to TU. Requested another CLi from $3k to $10k. Approved when calling in speaking to an underwriter (asked income, assets, etc.).
May 2014: Apped for Fidelity AMEX - Approved for $5k. FIA reallocated BofA Cash Rewards limit without me knowing. Two days later requested another CLI back to $10k on Cash Rewards and was approved.
Limits - BofA Cash Rewards: $10k
Fidelity AMEX: $5k.

Yes, each one has been good for 30k miles!
When I asked for CLI, they'd just move the CL around between all my 3 cards that I have with them. lol And without asking you first if it's ok to do that.
Great information...thanks everyone! It does seem like you can climb the ladder fairly quick with Bank of America.
I've had moderate usage on my BOA Travel Rewards so far (~$500/month; $5000 CL). But it should get a good workout in Europe later this summer. I'm trying to garden until next year, but if I can bump it up to >$10K, it may be worth another HP.
Some of you mentioned they countered your request...is this pretty common? Does that mean I should ask for $15K if I want $10K?
