From what I've read they're entirely unwilling to do anything for anybody unless they have either the max initial limit on their average cards ($3000) or one of their prime cards. haha.

That's why i got the BOA Secured Visa, cuz from what i read they will graduate & grow with me and are always willing to help!

Hah, well you'll find all sorts of opinions regarding BOA/BOFA here on these forums, but I happen to agree with you.  It's the best secured product that anyone without a qualified military affilation can get, and it's far and away the best rewards package of anything in the subprime strata.

I'm certain other lenders will move to match this part, and FWIW I've never had an issue with BOFA's credit cards that wasn't my own fault.  BOFA does seem to be trying to engender more customer loyalty, similar with Chase these days too.  Gone are the days where consumers simply stuck with one bank for life for their needs, online access has made that a complete thing of the past with my being able to do in 5-10 minutes what would've taken me hours to accomplish in person even 20 years ago.

Anyway congrats on the card, and my own secured transition to the 1-2-3 rewards package was flawlessly executed by BOFA.

Thanks so much for feedback. I hope I can have a very nice relationship with BOA for years to come as long as we treat each other with respect and kindness.... LOL! Eventually I am going to close my Amazon Card with GE but for right now i'm just going to pay it to a zero balance and let it go for a while & keep it open so it will help with my utilization, cuz having an extra $300 to use for ultlization manipulation will come in handy! LOL Smiley Very Happy

I bank with PNC, I will apply with them in like 3 years from now cuz i saw they have a box to check off on their app that says about having a limited history, so i'm not going to even think about applying for them right now cuz of only having 6 months of history. I think I am doing good, having 5 cards, especially that BOA is a prime bank in only 6 months of credit history!! I can't belive it i am going so well! Smiley Very Happy
