Never had this happen before, but I've received a CLI a few weeks ago and it reported my new limit to the CRA last week, and this morning it reported again w/ a new balance. I wonder if this from my call end of last week to get it converted to Visa Sig? I did notice the new account number being updated on there, but does not show as "flexible spending account". Any thoughts?
That is very interesting because I had the same thing happen to me. The statement date closed and I had a balance, then I paid off the balance 3 days after the statement cut, and it reported as no balance the next day.
Same thing happened to me with B of A recently. Last month they updated twice, no idea why. Then this month they reported an updated balance on 2/18 even though my statement cut is today. Very annoyed as I paid balance in full last night so I could get it to report 0 balance but they had already reported.
This business of trying to get all cards to report 0 is a pain in the ass. Im not apping at the moment, just trying to see where the sweet spot of 5% util with 1 card reporting will put my score as Ive never had my report line up that way.

+1, i know exactly what you mean!
I don't know about you guys, but BOA is updating my reports almost everyday. Every activity whether increase of balance or decrease due to payments are updating several times a week with a 2-3 day delay compared to real time.
This can happen with different creditors, GECRB did it to me when Walmart went to 0 and when I made a new charge to the account.
