Normally you keep the same card. In my case, My CL was doubled to 6K. I requested an upgrade to Visa Sig yesterday, since limit was over 5k. I was approved today. Card number should remain the same with new verbage and Visa Sig logo. Now I'm just waiting on the $39 AF to be permanently removed.

After contacting FB Social Media, I sucessfully had my $39 AF removed. Messaged them last friday, and heard back today. Very quick turnaround time. I'll have to wait 7 more months to have my APR lowered, but I'm fine with that. I went from secured to unsecured in 5 months. CL increased from 3K>6K. Card upgraded to Visa Sig. and AF removed. Not bad! BofA rocks!!!
