Yours most likely reports as secured as well.  As mjbfan posted above, the secured designation has no effect on FICO scoring.

Hey cheddar i just checked my experian CC an the card is already reporting it's not saying Secured all it says is BANK OF AMERICA not that it makes a difference.

I take that back it reports as secured.
