I was finally able to get rewards on my BOA secured after a weird process:
1- Denied via chat the day my card arrived
2- Called Card Services and asked again - all they said was that they could "put in a request" for it. and that I would receive a notice by mail within 2-3 weeks.
3- About a week later, I received a sparsely worded letter stating that my customer service request had been "resolved" but no approval or denial, so I called Card Services back, and a nice analyst said that my "product change" had been approved, but she was unable to see details until June 3, so I'll call back tomorrow and find out.
Interesting process, but I'm glad to have rewards,and I'll use it mostly for the 2-gas and 3- groceries . Hope it puts me in line to receive an early graduation ...fingers crossed.
