BOA World MC with WorldPoints - CL reporting?

I'm considering converting my plain vanilla BOA Platinum MC to the BOA World MC with WorldPoints.

However, I seem to recall some doubt about whether this card reports it's credit line or not.  Some seemed to say, like a Visa Signature card, that it doesn't.

Can anyone who holds this card confirm one way or another?

Thanks!

I have the Visa Signature World Points card and it reports to all 4 CRA's.

Sorry, maybe I wasn't clear.

I meant to ask if the Worldpoints MasterCard reports the credit limit correctly.

I have the Visa Signature World Points and, while it reports to all credit agencies correctly, the credit limit doesn't show up because it is a 'fexible spending' card with no hard upper limit.

I was wondering if the WorldPoints MasterCard had the same drawback.

Re: BOA World MC with WorldPoints - CL reporting?

My BofA signature card reports the Credit limit only on EX - not on EQ or TU (it used to be a Pat plus World points and at that time it did report the credit limit on aall three)

My (other) Worldpoints card DOES report it's Credit limit on all three

Both of them are Visa's, I can't imagine that would make a difference, but ya never know...

Yes, the WorldPoints MC reports the CL, as long as it says Platinum or Platinum Plus.

One of the confusing things about all this is that BofA especially offers Visa/ World and regular versions of many of their cards.

But WorldPoints doesn't automatically mean World.

Re: BOA World MC with WorldPoints - CL reporting?

Okay, the card I'm referring to is this one, the 'World MasterCard Creditcard with WorldPoints':

So it sounds like because it is a 'World' MasterCard, it won't report the CL correctly?

Check your reports, whether from myFICO or elsewhere.

Look for "Account Type."

If it shows as "revolving," it reports in the normal fashion.

If it shows as "open," the CL reporting is screwed up.

This should hold true for all three reports.

HTSU,

I can't do this, as I don't have the card (yet).

If you read the first posting, I'm thinking of doing a product change.

Thus, I'm hoping to get data from those who already have the card.

My Platinum Plus WorldPoints MC reports my credit line.  As long as it is not a Signature card, you have nothing to worry about.
