BOA card consolidation

Got 3 mo BOA account with 2500 limit.  Also have a 2k account which is 1 yr 8 mo's.  want to consolidate the 2 cards to increase my CL.  should I consolidate to the older account or newer one? thanks for the h elp.

I would leave them alone and let them age and grow naturally.

 

If you must mess with them. Line swap new to old, and close new.

If needed, it's better to transfer from new to old account so you keep the oldest one opened.

 


Even better is to keep them like they are and try to get both CLI with one HP later on.

I didn't think BofA allowed card consolidation...I agree with other posters tho. Swap new to old and close new if you have to mess with the accounts.

I've done it before, although that was a few years ago. Unless something has changed since then, I think they still do consolidations.
