I got a pre-approval in the mail for the Bank Americard cash rewards. I applied and got the 30 day message. I then called the back door number and talked to a lady that stated they sent the pre approval based on my banking history with them. They stated my credit score didn't really matter!!! It was in the mid to low 600s she said, but she also said they would have approved me even if I was in the 500s. WOW!! I have a ton of new credit and inquirys and like 80% util. Approved for $2500!!! My highest open TL. WOW!!

Good info and nice to know. Not sure about others, but I always wondered if banks/CUs takes your banking history in consideration when they decide to approve or not on their loans/CCs. I think some do, some do not. Congrats by the way, thats a nice starting CL!

I wonder now since Banks can no longer profit as much on debit cards isf this will become the norm...

BOA need's to raise capital, they got a big lawsuit to deal with! And the CEO's gotta get paid. When they get back on their feet they will slash that limit when your score is not what they like.
