I am an bit curious how accurate the BOA pre approval links are. For citi cap one barclays i get pre approvals, but for boa i get nothing. I was thinking of doing BBR and SM app sometime in october. I am an little worried that since i am not getting any kind of pre approval from BOA there may be something on my ex they don't like. I have an clean report, other than the 8 HP within last year and half. Should i be worried at all ?
Are you seriously asking if you can get approved with an 804? #PerfectFicoProblems

you be silly and need to apply now... what's the wait for 2 months for?!
what credit do you currently have and limits?

i am going to wait to get my freedom util in check before applying for any new cards. My freedom util is nearing 50% , once it reports with an more managable balance of about 7-10% then i will probably apply and see where BBR and SM takes me.

Mongstradamus, you will have no problem at all with BoA. With a new Citi acct report 80% util they approved a new card and doubled my Cash Rewards limit and your profile is stronger than mine. I'll make you AU on Virgin Atlantic if you don't get approved.

I seriously can't believe you're asking if you should be worried about BoA application though. I have never been pre-approved for any cards from BoA (but still got 5), Chase (but still got 6), Barclays (but still got 3), US Bank (but still got 2), Discover (but still got 1 unfortunately), Penfed (but barely got 1)....you get what I'm saying and you already know this. Citi only pre-approved me for 1 card ever and I've still managed to get 8.
And until someone figures out a way to help offset my AAoA hit from new card bonuses, I don't share my miles
