Would it be possible to app for a standard no reward card from BofA, then PC into Accelerated Cash AMEX later?

No!  Someone recently tried that.  They had to apply for a new card.

That is a gorgeous card mjb...  thanks for taking the picture.  I noticed that the member since is raised on the card, as opposed to the BankAmericard, where it is printed.
