Re: BT CARDS that are off the beaten path?!

Right now, DCU. Offer good until 1/31. (Only until July though).

Probably should get the usual suspects out of the way just for the sake of completeness too.

Only/Mostly BT cards:

Slate

Simplicity

Diamond Preferred

BankAmericard

Good cards that offer BT generally for new apps:

Discover

BC/ED AmEx

Double Cash

QuickSilver/QS 1

Other BofA

Cards that seem to offer them down the line:

SM

Banks?  That I don't know.  But if your friend is willing to use a credit union, Alliant is currently offering 0% for 12 months.  And no BT fees, as always.  $100 bonus listed on the site, but they offered me $500 when I applied... must have been a targeted offer.  No hard pull, but I was already a member with a share secured loan.

Good list.

All BofA cards offer BT, though they seem to have gone to 4% fee for me.

US Bank sends BT offers regularly, they are 3% fee, occasionally for 0% but often seem to be low APR like 2.9%.

Discover can have ongoing / recurring BT offers. Call them up or check on line, they may have hidden one on your on-line account, like the ones that keep appearing on mine.

PenFed Promise is running regular BT offers for no fee, 4.99% which is good to have if there is a short term need for the BT offer.

I know nothing about this CU, but I think it qualifies as off the beaten path

That offer expired Jun 30 2015 it says.  Doesn't exactly give me a warm fuzzy feeling about how promptly they'd process my payments!

That's funny ... does not inspire confidence!

Key bank is another one but CA might be out of their geo. the approval process can be grueling at best but they regularly send me BT offers. BoA seems to have tightened up over the New Year with BT and their willingness to keep things intact.
