BT Offer from Chase Amazon

I received an awesome BT transfer offer from chase. I can transfer and have 0% interest until August 2013. The BT fee is 1%

Anyone else receive this offer?

Yep, received a similar offer on my Chase United card. 0% through November 2013 with a 2% BT fee. I have until 10/31 to decide. I'm mulling it over. The only balance I have is on my Barclay Ring card. With it's great 8% purchase rate, I'm not sure if it's worth the 2% BT fee. It probably is though.

Starting scores: Around 630 (Sep 2011)

Re: BT Offer from Chase Amazon

Well; I just charged 8k on my nfcu. Doing two upstairs bathroom remodels on my duplex. It will cost 15k total... for me its a no brainer. I know I will use it; right now I'm trying to decide when would be a good time. Definately waiting tip after I close on my streamline refi. Ive got 5k in checking at the moment and we will be skipping two mortgage payments. I feel pretty comfortable to do the remodel now.

I didn't want to wait because the house is 40 yrs old and I wanted to replace the upstairs shower pan and tile as a preventative thing. I do not care to experience a leaking shower pan in my duplex.

Also found out my contractor will be unavailable for several months due to a double shoulder replacement. And I needed the write off for this tax year.

Re: BT Offer from Chase Amazon

My chase amazon doesn't even allow balance transfers. When I click the button it says no offer available and balance transfers are not avaible for this account at this time.

Very nice offer. I've gotten them from Barclay's, but w/3% BT fee. 1% fee is really great! Maybe try for a CLI before you BT. Smiley Happy
