I recently applied at Herbergers for their cc and got the needs further review message a response will be mailed to you in 7-10 days. It looks as if HSBC is the one who gives the credit cards. I called the backdoor # and it asked for my ss# which I punched into the phone and it did not recognize the #. Are their different #s for HSBC. Also, should I be calling to find out if I was approved or should I just wait?
