Balance Transfer Cheque

Hello Everyone,

Please I need advice on how to use a balance transfer cheque.

Do I mail the cheque to the card I want to transfer from or deposit into my account and pay from the account.

All responses are highly appreciated!

Sometimes you can sign into your account and do it also

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Re: Balance Transfer Cheque

When I got my transfer checks I actually called my bank to ask how to use them. They said they could do the transfers on the phone for me. If I wanted to deposit into my bank account, the interest rate on the transfer when the promotion expires will be the cash advance APR; whereas paying another credit card's balance will leave me with the purchase APR. The APR seems to be the only difference; both options will take the same amount of time to process.
