Balance Transfer/Citi Simiplicity/Amex Questions.......

I was interested in getting a balance transfer and I was looking at the Citi Simplicty card. I have only looked at that one because it came up at creditkarma as a 0% interest bt for 18 months. Do I have any chance of getting approved for a decent limit with citi? Is that the easiest citi card to get? I don't want to mess up my 3x 61 days with Amex so if I app for something else, will that kill any chances of the 3x?  I don't have to do a bt, I was just kind of weighing out my options.

Neither of my Amex cards are showing up on my credit yet so they won't help for "limit chasing". All my accounts are at 0 balance except Sams Discover, Discover & FNBO Amex.

Whoe does citi pull? They pulled 2 of my cr's when I got approved for a shell card with them back in September.(can't remember which ones)  I had to bug them to even get that one approved at 400 but that was when all of my cc's were pretty new.

I want to think they pulled EQ and EX for mine. I assume at the time I was on the fence with them. I just don't want to get another toy limit. For some reason I think they may be like Chase and only give me 500.00. I have nothing to back that up though

I just looked for preapprovals on the citi site and they said nothing came up but that they think I will like the Thank You Preferred Card. Is that easier/harder to get?

Like I said in my original post, I don't have to do a bt. I first and foremost want to make sure an inquiry or new account will not hurt me with Amex. Are they inquiry/new account sensitive?

Well, I guess I just got my biggest questions answered on the Amex Rant posting! Yikes!!

I applied for the Simplicity last August. Score was about 725 but utilization was around 55%. Got a low limit of 2000.00 with 17.9 APR. I didn't mind too much as the BT has saved me quite a bit of money. I'm hoping they'll give me a CLI soon, if not, I'll just request one. They pulled Experian. I'm in Florida.

i was recently recieved my citi simplicity card with 0% for 18 months with my scores listed below, they were sending my preapprovals in the mail but when i checked the preapproval site it did not say anyhting.  They gave me $10,900 and pulled EQ and possibly TU but the only one i got an alert for was EQ.  Also my reported Util was about 40% at the time of application.
