I've not seen anyone post about this new offering from Bank of America. I'm just wondering if you have found it to be fairly worthless and that's why there are no posts regarding this.
For those of you who are unfamiliar, I am referring to: click here.
Bank of America claims you can add on the cash back through using your BofA Credit Card OR Debit Card. I'd love to know, from your personal experience, more about this.
So far it has been fairly worthless to me. The only one of their current partners I ever shop at is The Body Shop,
They're going to need a lot more partners for it to really be compelling. I make much more use of iDine and Upromise, which are the same general idea but with a much larger portfolio of partners and the ability to link ANY card (not just BoAs). This makes for some serious deals when for example you stack iDine rewards on a card that also earns significant points or cashback on dining.
Still, kudos to BoA for at least being willing to experiment and try new approaches.
I get it as text messages but none of the bdeals were worth going for. I do log on and check them though. YOu have to sign up for them all the times.I mean currently there are: Aeropostale, Autozone, 1-800 flowers, HSN
Yeah the BankAmeriDeals are pretty crappy but I applaud BoA for at least trying. On the other hand I just got an Email from BoA that I get 3% cashback for the rest of the year up to $25. Hey it's better than nothing.
+1
I pretty much ignore the program, because all of the stores listed sell over-priced optional items. Nothing essential and nothing at any store I regularly shop at.
I added the Redbox deal on my card. I actually work for Redbox so I get free rentals on a daily basis, but I still used it and see the cashback is pending in my online account.
