Bank Of America CLI Question 2-for-1??

Hey All,

I'm planning on requesting a CLI on my Cash Rewards Visa that I've had with BOA

for over 2 years now. I've been stuck at 4K and have been declined twice for a CLI

in the past (last try about a year ago). I know it will be a HP.

My question is this, I have a business CC with them as well and I'm wondering if I

would be able to use the same HP to get a CLI on the business CC.

Has anybody successfully acheived this? Or will they say it's a different department

and that they need to do another HP. I don't want to waste 2 HPs on BOA, especially

as I haven't had much love from them in the past.

Or has anyone done it the other way around and got an HP CLI on the business CC

and then tried to extend to a personal CC??

In my experience BoA requires one HP per request. Other lenders such as Chase seem to do the same. You can call and ask, but for some reason they pull a CR each time a CLI is requested.

I asked for cli's on more than one card and reminded them that I had a hard pull a few days before and they used the one they had so no new hard pull.

Hey musiclover (me too by the way)..

So in your scenario, did you call EO in order to get them to do that?

Did you call back several times until you got the right person to say yes?

I know it doesn't usually work so i'm trying to figure out what your method was or if

you just got lucky.

Aslo, were any of your CCs business CCs?
