Hi everyone,
I was recently approved for a $1K limit on a Bank of America card. I didn't plan on using it much. I really just wanted to get rid of some subprime cards. I recently got 3 AMEX cards (with $22,500 in available), a USAA card and Barclay Apple card. So the $1K isn't much help.
WIll they raise my limit if I ask now (SP or HP), or do they do auto CLI's? Should I wait a certain period of time before asking.
I am in the garden now, for the record.

BofA can be generous. You can always recon your limit but be prepared for a HP. For CLI request they tend to pull TU. If you really really want or need a higher limit then you should give it a shot. If not then just use the card frequently and im sure you will see some auto cli luv soon! Btw, congrats on the approval.
I would just wait for 6 months. If you try right now they will HP you. My BofA amex was approved for 2k and 6 months later i got it to 6k.
Thanks for the info.
I don't necessarily need the credit right now. I was just wondering why they started low to begin with.
I will just use the card some, and hopefully it will rise again.
I don't want to do anymore HP's for 6 months or so.
