Just a quick question, if I were to request a CLI on my Bank of America Travel Rewards Visa would it be a SP or a HP? I'm sure everyone's situation varies but if you have tried this how was the outcome? And if it were a HP which bureau did they pull? Thanks
HP! They pull TU.
Thank you! My GF has only one HP on her Transunion and has had the card a year so she should be able to get an increase quite easily.

Definitely a good chance, what are her scores? I took a HP last month on my BOA which i had for 6months, starting CL was $1k, asked for $6k. Received the 7-10day msg, called recon, and approved for the full asking $6k! Best of luck to your GF!

^^^ This. I asked for a recon of the starting limit when I was approved for the card. Pulled EX at app and TU for the CLI.
She has upper 690s for all three scores, she went ahead and did the online credit limit increase and got the 7 to 10 message, but waited about 20 minutes and when she logged back into her account she saw that her CL was increased. Went from $500 to $2,500. Not sure what was pulled just yet. The only mistake she made was that she read the question wrong, she thought she requested a $2,500 increase to make her total $3,000 but they asked her what she wanted her total to be, which is how she ended up with that number. She's still very happy though with the outcome.

id have her go back and ask for $10k... until they counter to me it means you didn't ask for enough.... I almost always ask for $25k when it comes to CLI depending what bank and what the current line is.... since she was at a smaller line I like the $10k number unless amex then just 3x.
