Went through the website pre-screening tool and landed on a app for this card. Was approved for 5k.  Anybody have any feedback on this card?

I hope chase bumps up my limit to meet the other cards...

Thanks for all the knowledge...You are all a great. Thank You.

i was approved for the same card toward the end of Sept. with a cash back reward bonus of $100 for $500 purchase within the first 3 months.

Put over $500 on the card within the first month, and within a week had my $100 reward safely direct deposited into my CU checking acct :smileyhappy:

congrats!!

I have it at 12k limit, they don't report the limit but you can call CS and have them start reporting the limit  if you need it, I never had any auto cli's and recently they started doing a HP mostly on TU for CLI.

I don't like how they round up points, 14.98 charge for gas got me 14 points and 2x14 bonus , where if you use Chase Freedom(when they have 5% on gas) they always round up in your favor, in this case would be 15 points +4x15 bonus   and I also have Chase exclusives 10+10% on every purchase so it piles up over time if you charge a lot like me....

Did you personally request that they report the limit on your card or did you know it was a possibility? I was debating whether I should request a CLI at all for my Visa Signature card; if the limit doesn't get reported, there's no point in a CLI really.

Re: Bank of America Cash Rewards Sig

I did not request it for myself because I got a lot of credit available already, but we did request them to report it for my roomate and they did, you can also read this forum there was a bunch of people wanting to switch back to platinum because of that, their CS said no need for that, will will start reporting....But you have to tell them...

Re: Bank of America Cash Rewards Sig

Not sure which thread you are talking about. A few have the cl report in the middle of a pc to visa sig, but once it's Complete it doesn't report anymore. Id bet some boa reps tell you they can do it, only for you to check your report and find out the cl still isn't reporting.

Only guaranteed way is to PC to a world mastercard version, amex accelerated rewards, or go back to platinum.

But i guess it won't hurt to ask anyways.

+1, definitely right, visa signatures do not report, I even asked rep and stated my visa card would have to go back to platinum and reduce my cl as well to do this
