Bank of America Question / Successful Chase Freedom Recon

I'm excited 3 try over 7 inquires and finally a successful approval for Chase Freedom. $1000 credit line.

On a side note. I already have a BankAmericard Power Rewards with BOA. I recently applied for the accelerated cash rewards by American Express and was decline. Will this affect my current relationshipe with BOA on my current card? Will they close my account of lower my CL? I've heard of them doing crazy stuff like that and since it was an AMEX card, AMEX always declines my application. Maybe they recieved some information from AMEX that they didn't have since AMEX also checks telecheck or something like that and I have an old charge off. Should I be worried? I really don't want to jepordize my current credit card relationship with them.

Thanks,

Re: Bank of America Question / Successful Chase Freedom Recon

american express network cards by other banks and american express centurion bank have nothing to do with each other. its completely ymmv if your current creditors decide to take adverse action for all your recently opened new accounts and new inquiries. I wouldnt see why it would be an issue to them unless you are carrying high balances for a long time

Thank you for the information. It's good to know. I don't have a balance on my current BOA account. I PIF each month.
