Re: Banks Offering Secured Credit Cards

Thank you for the complement.

Well I have bad news.

This week I had a Tax Lien hit all of my CR and also have one outstanding CA.

Scores are now mid 500's

But the GOOD news is.

I just got back from B of A and they approved my for 99/500 VISA.

I was shocked as I thought i would have to put down 300-10000 for security.

Well if anyone knows any other SECURED VISA's, please feel free to post all info on those banks.

Thank you MYFICO for everything that I have learned from the time that i have been here.

GOD BLESS those who are starting.

Re: Banks Offering Secured Credit Cards

chuck, do all these banks offer cards on a nationwide basis?  Some of them seem to be local banks, not banks that have a national presence.  Would one of those local banks in CA, for example, offer a secured card to someone who lives in NY?

Re: Banks Offering Secured Credit Cards

That is a good question. I can not answer that though.

I never called them becuause I now have 2 secured CC's that need to run there course.

In all of the web surfing in last couple of day I have found those out there on a web site.

Best of luck
