This is exactly right. Timing is everything in this credit game. And as for citi, go to their site and check for prequalified offers. If any show up, then citi will start sending you all sorts of offers. I haven't even gotten the typ world mc in the mail, but I got an offer today for the typ visa...lol. They are persistent.
Well, i will probably PC in august and see whats available. if all goes well, my credit scores should be better by then.
i did the citi thing. it didnt say i was prequalified by thought i "might be interested" in thank you premier (way at the top) then lists the rest of the cards. hmmm..maybe prequalified does mean something.
I just SD'd my QSO cards in favor of Arrival WMC as my daily card for the 2x return. Best card on the market for travel reward/everyday spend/signup bonus combination.
