Barclay Arrival

For those interested in the Barclay arrival you may want to app now instead of waiting. There is information circulating that they will be raising the min spend from 1k to 3k in three months for 40k points. For some it may not matter, but for others this may be a lot of spend on one card.

Re: Barclay Arrival

They had a 50-55k offer for 3k spend (can't remember specifics). So maybe they will get rid of the 40k offer and go with the 50k offer as the primary offer.
JPMorgan Palladium (100k), AmEx Platinum (NPSL), AmEx SPG (46k), AmEx BCP (42k), Chase Sapphire Preferred (47k), Citi Prestige (31k), Citi Thank You Preferred (27k), Citi Executive AAdvantage (25k), JPMorgan Ritz-Carlton (21k), Merrill+ (15k), US Bank Cash+ (22.5k), Wells Fargo (12k), Bloomingdale’s (12.4k), Chase Freedom (5k), Discover IT (5k).

It was 30k for 5k spend in 6 months and additional 20k after 20k spend in 1 year. The current 40k after 1k is a much better offer unless you were going to spend 20k this year on it anyways

I doubt it, since I think they are bringing their offers in line with the CSP. Of course there may be special offers in the future, but there is no telling when those will occur.

Re: Barclay Arrival

I took the 20k points for 1k spend in 3 months because of the 0% apr/bt apr for 15 months. So far, I haven't carried a balance...lol. Perhaps taking the points was a better option.
