Barclay CC let's put our heads together

barclay generally "holds" my payments for a week as well. by hold i mean they show the payment in the balance but not in the available credit line.

here is their response to a recent e mail about a payment that had not been credited a week after is had cleared my bank.

Your payment posted to your account on December 7, 2013 and is effective on that date. However, your available credit may not be immediately increased by the amount of the payment for up to 7 days after the posting date. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause; however, paper checks and electronic payments are not guaranteed and may be returned by your bank.

We show your available credit for the amount of the payment will be available after 8 am ET on December 17, 2013. You can verify if the payment hold has been removed by checking your available credit online located in front of the website page under 'Available Credit' or through our automated phone service.

well, my 6 months with my Arrival are coming up at the end of the month (statement will cut on 1/03). I'm not sure if my account will stay open (opened 4 new accounts during the 6 months). I have a used the card moderately for cable bills and gas. Just did a balance transfer of 2.5K last month and have 1500 remaining on the card. I guess we will see what happnes, not expecting a CLI thats for sure.

I've been using it since I recieved it in August. I have a balance now of $135. I haven't apped for anything. On the plus side, when they pulled my CR the ninth, I was at 770! yeah!

I would say your a prime candidate for an auto CLI 

especially with that score..Bravo on 770

I think you'll be ok 

I waited 5 1/2 months after Barclay approval to go on a spree with not a word from them since  

1 week after spree auto luv from Barclay 3X
