Re: Barclay CLI's?

How have you been using their card? I was auto CLI'd on my 6th statement from 3000 to 5500. Pretty much the only thing I had on the card was my $2200 mac up until that point which I had just paid off before that statement cut. In general, it seems they are pretty good with CLIs but obviously YMMV.

|| Barclaycard Rewards Visa $5500 || AMEX BCE $2000 || Discover IT $3000 || Amazon Rewards Visa $1800 ||

Re: Barclay CLI's?

usually 600 a month on it, 1 month i went over 1300, but made multiple payments so i never actually went over the hard limit, pif when ever possible most i ever carried over was 200. also learned the hard way about their payment policy gotta make multiple payments 2 weeks apart or they don't release the funds for 7 days.

Wait for the auto CLI!!! I got my first auto luv at 6 months and then another at 1 year. You have used the card about as much as I have and you should definitely see an auto CLI at the 6 month mark. Let us know what happens at the 6 month mark!!

Re: Barclay CLI's?

im hoping to break the 2k limit barrier this yr, im on the edge w/ my discover because i got 6 and 9 months bumps and im now sitting at 1900, im hoping at 1 yr w/ discover i will at least be 2500.  i would be happy if barclays at least bumps me 500 anything below that im going to be disappointed but will take non the less.

Re: Barclay CLI's?

Sounds like you'd be a perfect candidate for some auto luv, YMMV of course.

If you ask for a CLI it will definitely be a HP and a manual review of your account.

Re: Barclay CLI's?

PhillyGuy,

I am in the same boat.  I was approved FRR the Rewards card in Nov but didn't get it until Dec.  My 5th statement cut yesterday.   No luv yet but I'm anxiously waiting. Be patient  because I was also approved for the Barclays Carnival MC in Nov which was activated while I was on a cruise.  This past Saturday I received a $1500 Auto CLI, no HP after the 5th payment /statement posted.  Let me know of any success.  Good luck.

I'm going back to the garden!
