Called backdoor number today to request cli on Travelocity Amex and Juni Visa. Spoke to very courteous rep who increased Amex from 8k to 15k, and Visa from 10.5k to 15k with no problems at all. For me, Barclays has been the best bank i've dealt with next to Citi. Asked general questions about employment and income information, put me on hold for less than a minute, and congratulated me on my strong payment history.
However, it cost me 2 HP's as i figured it would. 1 on TU, and 1 on EQ.
I was hesitant to ask for so much on the Amex, but figuring i'd take the hit anyway, i went for it. I figured they would counter if they couldn't extend the 15k.
It was worth the hard pulls for me, and i couldn't be any happier with the result. I've been gardening anyway, with the exception of the Amex, so back to the garden i'll go for now.
Those are some big jump in $$$$, did they ask for proof of income?
Very nice. Congrats on your CLIs, you did an awesome job IMO.
They didn't ask for proof of income, although i could provide if needed. Just the general questions they've asked anytime i've called the credit department. If fact, he said if i needed more flexibility in the future, i could callback in 3-6 months and they would give me more.
I think i'll hold off though, as i'll never use all this available credit, but it sure feels nice to get an approval. It seems after reading around, Barclays is in a very giving mood lately..
Thanks all

Very nice...good to see they are generous. I have a Priceline Rewards Visa with Barclays, I will looking for a CLI in 3 months. I hope you get it too. I've never received an auto cli from them, EVER. I've always had to call, and i explained that to him about always taking a hard pull in the past. It would be nice to see an auto cli just once to avoid that, as i take hard pulls and new credit very seriously.
