Re: Barclay (Priceline Visa) website updated

lots of credit card sites have removed their referral application link for  this card. For the moment though, creditkarma referral still shows the 2x points (checked the terms and it's in there too). Probably won't last long. Ever since BCP/BCE nerfed groceries, its been like dominoes, so many cards getting nerfed within a few months.

Re: Barclay (Priceline Visa) website updated

the nerf bats have been hitting hard.  but the one nerf to rule them all has to be Cash+.  Hero to zero.  well that may be unfair, it is still a very good 5% card when used with other 5% cards as a gap filler.  and now w/ best buy price matching amazon, that 5% at electronics is mroe appealing to me.  Hilton honors also lost all of its bonus catergories except $ spent @ hilton.  The war for credit card superiority does not go well...  anyone remember the united card that gave 5k points a year, and a bonus point at grocery stores and 3 points on united for an annual fee much less than the current card?  that was only like 4 years ago...  there is nothing we can do to protect against these reductions.  bait and switches are perfectly legal, all we can do is cancel when we get mad and switch to the newest shiny deal that will be slashed in another year.  im very optimistic. Yea that's the same design they use for SallieMae rewards card and the US Airways World Mastercard .. glad they finally upgraded Priceline.. no more the ugly step child compared to my other barclay cards.

Re: Barclay (Priceline Visa) website updated

creditkarma offer for 2x points is gone now too.

www.pricelinevisa.com still shows the 2x points while the app from the barclays site shows 1x points. same signature card, same 5K bonus promo. So i dont know what barclays is doing, but  this could possibly be it for the 2x version.

all referral links i can find are dead/deleted curently. They all mentioned the 2x point version.

Re: Barclay (Priceline Visa) website updated

Boy 2013 has turned out to be the year of the card nerf. Cash+, Chase 10+10, BCP, Hilton and now the priceline visa. Does anyone know if Barclays has been known to grandfather in and keep servicing discontinued cards for previous customers? Or do they switch terms often?

On a side note I hope FIA does not nerf the Fidelity Amex.

Re: Barclay (Priceline Visa) website updated

The pricelinevisa.com site still has the 2% offer on the home page.

Re: Barclay (Priceline Visa) website updated

Predicatably, the pricelinevisa.com site is down to 1% also. There is however still currently a link straight to the application which still shows 2%. PRobably won't be alive too much longer though.
