So I'm about to go on a mini app spree shortly. One of the cards will be a Barclay's. I know that they are inquiry sensitive, should I apply for them last or first?

How many cards are you going to apply for ? Some people have reported they have been closed by Barclay because of new accounts being opened, not necessarily due to the inquiries.

I was planning on applying for 3 possibly 4:
Walmart
Barclay
Amex Charge (possibly)
Rooms To Go

Ok, well you'll want to fly under the radar with Barclay, once the new accounts are all showing I would be careful about asking for a CLI with Barclay for at least the first 6 months.

Oh ok, so it doesn't really matter what order I apply in, just don't rock the boat for atleast 6 months.

Don't rock the boat. As far as inquiries, Barclays almost always pulls TU, so if you think that any of the other creditors would pull TU as well you might want to app with Barclay first.

+1... Apply for Barclay's First. Walmart pulls TU normally as well. I would do the Barclays before the Walmart.

Awesomeness. I will apply for barclay's first! Thanks All!

I would suggest the Apple Card if you are looking for easier approval or the Barclaycard Rewards Visa for the points. 2 pts for every $1 spent on Gas / Groceries / Utilities
1 pt for every $1 spent elsewhere with 5000 bobus points and 0% for 15 months.
The Barclay Ring card has a set 8% rate and low fees, but that one is a bit harder to get.

Yea, I was looking at applying for the Rewards Visa for the 0% for 15 months. Thanks Hammer! I'll let you all know how it goes. I haven't applied for any new credit (other than my mortgage this year) for 2 years. Now that my scores are much better I'm nervous ![]()
