2/13 applied for priceline visa
I tried to apply for the priceline visa which gets 2% back (i want it so bad..). I called recon and they claimed I tried to apply for it already 4 months ago. He said he could do another hard pull, does that mean that there was never a hard pull in the first place? just auto denied because it detected from 4 months that I had already applied?
Anyhow, I went on a mini app spree. This card, Cap1 Journey - instantly denied, and I was gonna apply for the BofA Better Balance but applied for Travel Rewards since I would like a card with no TFT (which was gonna be my cap1.
Should I call back and get the hard pull? I applied for this one first so now it would show these new INQ for today.
Or just wait it out? I really would like this card, I would use it for absolutely everything since its 2% back. I am a bit paranoid they might take a way this 2%, some offers do not have it anymore (2% with 50 back and 1% with 100 back after spending 1k)
He could have been talking about the Upromise card. Barclays will sometimes deny you without an inquiry and say you have enough credit with them. You can still have them override the system and look at it manually. I don't know if you should though. I am actually surprised they gave you the Upromise with so many new accounts last year. They may reference new accounts if you get a manual review.
I asked if he could transfer credit limit from the upromise. He said he couldn't right now, but if I show some good payments on the upromise to show good payment history, that it is possible in the future. Not sure if he even had my credit report at all, since he did claim I could try you for a recon but that would require a hard pull (I declined thinking that there was already a hard pull).
When do you think I should try to apply again? 6 months from now, November?
I'd say December, let the Upromise card hit a year in age

IMO I would not take the HP and leave it alone. You have too many new accounts. I would suggest visiting the gardening thread here. It will help you.
+1
We have some awesome spring flowers in the garden.

I got accepted for the Travel Rewards bofa.
But I kinda wish I got the Better Balance, theres always product change.
So you think Bofa would accept me for a Better Balance in December?
So I'll be in the garden till December.
Priceline Visa
BofA Better Balance
I think I will be set, garden for life after that
Unless someone wants to show a card that gets some nice cashback elsewhere.
I'm on slickdeals a lot so I basically choose the cards that get me the most cashback, whatever I have to buy or want to buy
