Barclay Rewards Card

So my first statement just generated. I used my rewards points to get $30 in statement credits. It took about 2 days to update but the the $30 was deducted from my current balance. Gotta love rewards cards! This is my first rewards card of any type so I am so excited to be getting these types of benefits! lol

Re: Barclay Rewards Card

Congrats

It is by will alone I set my mind in motion.....
Always follow these rules: Only take a HP for a new account. Always use the best rewards card for that reward category. Don't close a card unless you know you really should. Never use more than 35% of a credit limit. Recon as much and as best you can. Use the introductory period to the best advantage. Get the signup bonus. Whenever possible PIF or balance transfer so you pay less in interest. Never give an excellent rating when it is actually the norm. Always look for a discount as more is always better.
Always accept candy from strangers because they have the best candy or from people you know have good candy.

Re: Barclay Rewards Card

Which Barclaycard? Hopefully it's not the Arrival Smiley Indifferent With the Arrival, if you opted for cash back, you're basically giving up half of your points. For instance, if you opted for $30 cash back, you really could have gotten $60 back if you used it on travel instead. I just redeemed 31,500 miles to get $315 credit on an airline ticket I purchased Smiley Happy Very cool! Howver, had I opted for cash back, I would have only received half that Smiley Sad

Congrats by the way :-) I have Barclaycard too.

Re: Barclay Rewards Card

The Rewards card has been great for me. They gave me my biggest limit, and within 4months have gotten back about 100 bucks. I only have a 750 limit, so I have to pay my balance a couple of times a month. If you pay it more than twice, they'll sometimes hold you available balance even though they've received payment.

Re: Barclay Rewards Card

Love my Barclay Card.

Got 15 months 0%APR when I got it. They bumped my CL up to $7500 within 90 days of activating it from $4500 without my having to ask.

Double points for gas, groceries and utility bills (including Roadrunner and my cell bill) which is mostly what I use it for anyway.

Liked mine so much the wife got one too.

Re: Barclay Rewards Card

I don't think the Barclay Rewards MC gets enough respect compared to AMEX, Discover,Chase,Citi, etc. on these forums. I actually like my Barclay card better than all my other cards you see i my signature....Go Barclays!!!
